Cantautora escocesa de solo 21 años. Su debut en el mundo de la música se inició con el disco This is the life, lanzado el 30 de julio de 2007, que ha vendido 2 millones de copias. Su primer corte fue Poison Prince lanzado el 7 de mayo de 2007.
Con 15 años, se presentaba en Pubs y Cafes y salia a escena nada más que con su guitarra acústica, comenzo tocando canciones propias en su mayoría, pero también interpretaba covers de bandas como REM, Tears For Fears entre otras. Envió su demo tras ver un anuncio de la conocida revista musical NME y firmó un contrato con la productora “Melodramatic”.
